999 is a DS game made up of rooms in which you must escape from. I am borrowing it from a friend, but I found it cool that this is a DS game with a online demo. I haven't seen too many with demos although I haven't really looked either.

I know we were talking on Steam, but this is a misrepresentation of things. It's more like 20% puzzles, 80% text.

Yeah, I didn't realize that until after I started playing.

In seriousness, the online demo was pretty cool. I got a good feel of what the game is like. Part riddle solving, part investigation. Great concept.

Garlic.

There are entire conversations that are entirely innuendo.

You haven't seen anything yet.

It seems rather odd, considering the dark nature of the game, but it works.

The "growing lump" part is just a translation issue, because in Japanese that isn't sexual innuendo at all.

But now that I check the "M" rating, it does say "Suggestive Themes", so that's understandable.

You say issues, but isn't it entirely possible they did that on purpose?

Like I said, a majority of the innuendo is meant.

Also, seriously, you guys haven't bought this yet? I've yet to hear a person who has played it say it was anything less than great.

I'm sorry Ninji but we don't all rush to buy games the second you tell us to.

Is this game even available in Australia? I've never seen it anywhere before.

That's actually a good question. Considering the graphic nature (only through text, admittedly), your censors may not be too keen on it.

Then give me 30$. I am interested in buying it, but only after getting MvC3, preordering inFamous 2, getting Layton 2 and 3, etc.
In other words: it's not on the top of my list.

We're becoming more lenient about censorship, actually, but it's still a possibility. Wikipedia doesn't mention Australia or Europe, and I can't find anything on Google about a PAL release.

MvC3 vs. 999 sounds like the hardest decision of my life.

Oh so you don't approve of me emulating it? Looks like I'm definitely not playing it now.
