Sushi (twelve pieces, four with smoked salmon, four with egg, and four with squid. It was my first time eating squid)

A lamb gyro in a pita with tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce.

I should try Greek food more often.

That sounds delicious, not to mention a lot healthier than all the Starburst I just ate.

Dinner: Leftover spaghetti meat sauce scooped up with a piece of whole-wheat naan, with two chunks of leftover roast potatoes on the side and a glass of orange juice to wash it down.

Dessert: Gingerbread cookie slathered with chocolate sauce and warmed in the microwave, then eaten with blobs of chocolate ice cream on top.

Springbok biltong (a.k.a. thin chunks of spiced antelope meat - the jerky of South Africa).

Fish and chips from my local Fish and Chips place for the last time ever, since it's closing on Saturday after 47 years of business. Despite searching for years in preparation for this sad day, I have yet to find another place in all of Toronto with fish that's nearly as tasty. I shall miss it dearly.
